Antique Khaddar Bagh is traditional hand embroidered phulkari made for special Punjabi Sikh wedding ceremonies. Mostly used for wedding jaago night, wedding day as a canopy and then gifted to the bride. Khaddar Bagh phulkari is a symbol of happiness, prosperity and well being of a woman.
Khaddar Bagh - Made on hand dyed cotton cloth called khaddar with embroidery of silk threads. Fabric is hand spun and a handloom. Whole surface of the fabric in this bagh has been embroidered in geometric patterns. Khaddar is strong and long lasting. It is also used for decoration in home & for gifting purpose in weddings.
